Short answer

No provider can responsibly promise that a Google review will remain removed forever. Google controls its platform and may change enforcement, restore content, or allow a reviewer to post new content.

For businesses, the most useful way to think about this question is through Google's published policies and the economics of the review profile—not promises or shortcuts.

Important: A negative review is not removable simply because a business believes it is unfair. Google removes content when it violates applicable policy, and Google makes the final decision.

What “permanent” should mean in practice

Businesses should distinguish between a review that was successfully removed and a guarantee that no similar content will ever appear again. The first can be verified; the second cannot be controlled by a third party.

Reinstatement vs. a new review

If the exact original review reappears with the same reviewer, business profile, and original posting date, it is a reinstatement. If the reviewer posts again later, that is new content and should be evaluated separately.

Questions to ask a removal provider

Ask what happens if the review returns, whether re-removal work is included, whether there is a refund period, and how the provider defines the “same review.” Get these terms in writing.

Avoid absolute guarantees

Claims such as “permanent guaranteed deletion” should be treated cautiously. Google's own processes and policies remain outside a provider's control.

Frequently asked questions

Can Review Resolve guarantee permanent removal?

No. We guarantee our billing model, not Google's future platform decisions.

What if the exact review comes back?

Our service agreement defines how reinstated reviews are handled and when a refund may apply.

Can the reviewer write a new review later?

Yes. A new review is separate content and must be assessed independently.
